Custom Home

2009 –  Custom Home Build – After the custom home builder declined to install the customer-supplied wide plank French oak flooring citing its irregular milling as being too much trouble, Ben jumped at the chance to work with the architect to remill some of the stock as needed, and install it just as called by the design. Later, when the 40” square parquet panels arrived from Belguim unsanded and untreated, Ben quickly assembled a solution.  The River Bend team milled the panels to a uniform square size, built a custom rack to gas and treat the panels and the custom base trim at the same time, and installed the panels, complete with their custom wax finish treatment. The team worked overnight and finished just 6 hours before the moving vans arrived. Dedication to YOUR schedule and a drive to succeed–especially where others have failed or simply refused to try–is what sets River Bend Custom Hardwoods in a class all its own.
